Historical and local lore museum of Karkaraly town was formed on 7th of November 1977 y.

 Total territory – 520 sq m including expositional area – 469,8 sq m, fund area – 39,7 sq m, adjective area – 80,5 sq m.

 Educational programs:

Museum employees organize different actions to scientific and social celebrations: lectures on different themes, contests among pupils and also the museum plans to open a club for pupils “Youth historian” on the base of the museum. Additionally the museum leads scientific research works to learn local place, takes part in different conferences and has good relationship with other museums.

The schedule of work: 9.00 – 18.00 Weekdays – Saturday and Sunday
